1st November: Avoid Betfair trading when tired and just back from holiday: -5.1pts

I arrived back from the Austria, the home of Classical music after a wonderful break in a beautiful country.

Early 2 AM start, flights and a drive home from the airport plus a beer later in the evening meant I should have avoided the markets as I was quite mentally exhausted. But I didn't.

I was then taught a classical lesson in the unforgiving Betfair markets with a 5.1pt loss, not a single goal in any of my picks

The picks were fine, it was just one of those days when I needed to be super alert and sharp, and I wasn't. It would have been a losing day but perhaps slightly less so given I lost concentration more than a few times

Either way, what a wonderful break in Austria, particularly the Carintihian region and Vienna.

Tomorrow is a busy Saturday and I will be rested and ready to rumble
