July 2026 Results: +41 pts Recovery, Another Cycle Complete and Looking Ahead

July delivered a welcome recovery following June's difficult month, finishing +41.83 units after 2% Betfair commission from 100 qualifying bets.

More importantly, July marked the completion of 300-Bet Cycle 7, providing another meaningful checkpoint in the ongoing validation of the Trade Carefully Research Framework.

Cycle 7 finished -2.40 units. While not a standout cycle, it represents a significant improvement on Cycle 6 (-61.60 units) and reinforces why the framework is evaluated over complete 300-bet cycles rather than reacting to individual weeks or months.

The live implementation has now surpassed 2,100 documented bets, while the wider Trade Carefully research archive has grown to more than 49,000 UK greyhound market observations. Every qualifying bet continues to be recorded and published as part of our commitment to transparency and evidence-based research.

One of the biggest lessons from this project remains unchanged: variance is part of the process. High-odds frameworks naturally experience periods of strong growth, extended losing runs and challenging drawdowns. July serves as another reminder that short-term performance rarely tells the full story. The only way to judge whether a framework has genuine long-term expectancy is through large sample sizes and disciplined execution.

The objective has never been to sell certainty. The objective has always been to document an evidence-based research process and let the data speak for itself.

Over the coming weeks, I'll be launching the Trade Carefully Research Framework (Version 1.0). Rather than selling a strategy, it documents the complete research journey behind this project, including the methodology, mindset, master research archive, live implementation, automation files and the lessons learned from analysing more than 49,000 UK greyhound market observations.

My hope is that it provides a practical blueprint for anyone interested in taking a more disciplined, data-driven approach to researching exchange markets.

As always, the framework will continue to be tracked without changing the rules or optimising around recent results. Every month—good or bad—will continue to be published as the research archive grows.
