May 2026 Update — Signs of Stabilisation After a Difficult Period

Following one of the toughest months in the live dataset during April, May delivered a more stable performance profile and early signs that the strategy may be settling back into more normal variance behaviour.

A total of 79 bets were placed during May, resulting in a profit of +23.16 units.

While this does not erase the impact of the recent drawdown, it is an encouraging development after the difficult conditions experienced during Cycle 6.

The broader picture remains important.

This strategy operates at average odds of approximately 12.5 with a strike rate around 11%, meaning periods of volatility are expected. The goal has never been to produce smooth month-to-month returns, but rather to assess whether the edge continues to behave consistently over large sample sizes and full cycles.

Cycle 6 officially completed during this period, finishing at **−61.60 units** over 300 bets. This makes it the most difficult completed cycle in the live dataset so far.

Importantly, however, the strategy did not continue deteriorating after the completion of that cycle. Early Cycle 7 performance has so far been considerably more stable, suggesting the intense pressure phase seen during April may have begun to ease.

At the time of writing:

* Total live bets now stand at approximately 1,919

* Total live profit remains above +460 units after commission

This continues to reinforce the importance of long-term perspective and disciplined execution.

The system itself remains unchanged:

* same filters

* same automation

* same staking structure

* no manual intervention

As always, the focus remains on process rather than short-term emotional reactions to variance.

The next major milestone will be the completion of Cycle 7, which should provide a much clearer picture of whether the current stabilisation continues through the next 300-bet sample.
